This was my 3rd time seeing Louis C.K. For this show I stayed overnight in nearby West Springfield. Just a couple days previous,West Springfield had been in the news for a 150 lb. alligator being found in someone's backyard.
The show took place at the 8,000 person MassMutual Center. (Previously the Springfield Civic Center.) My seat was in the back of the floor section. Thankfully the facility erected 2 large video screens for those in the *hard-to-see* areas.
Louis's material included suicide, marriage, education, bad choices and abortion. I was laughing so hard I cried. And I was not the only one. The show was an absolute success. Of note was Louis's wardrobe. He generally wears jeans and a black t-shirt for shows. This time around he was dressed in a suit and tie. Very sharp and extremely funny.
Below my ticket stub is a photo of the MassMutual Center.

Bill Burr/June 4,2016/Portland,ME
This was my first Bill Burr show in almost 5 years. Last time I saw him was in the Wilbur Theater in Boston,MA. This time he filled the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland,ME. Bill's career appears to be going well.
His opener was Paul Virzi. Paul got the crowd warmed up for 10-15 minutes. Bill came out to tons of applause and a standing ovation. He had a bit of difficulty connecting with the crowd on his opening Caitlyn Jenner routine. A few times during the night the crowd seemed to "pull back" a little when Bill did race-related or sexism-related material. But Bill is a professional, and he had no problem adjusting himself.
Topics included were overpopulation,McDonald's,the 2016 election, the illuminati and air travel. Bill called attention to one man in the audience who appeared to be filming him. Security tended to the issue quickly.
After over an hour,Bill left the stage to more applause and another standing ovation. A great time. Below my ticket stub are a couple photos I took before and after the show.

Jim Norton/April 9,2016/South Burlington,VT
I was so happy to see Jim Norton play a show only 30 miles from my home. My friend Josh accompanied me to this one.
This was the first non-musical performance I've seen at Higher Ground in South Burlington. Jim is currently on his "Mouthful of Shame" tour, and he is funny as hell. He repeated a couple little bits and pieces from the Albany show I attended last year. But,for the most part,it was new material to me.
Jim also took time to meet anyone for autographs and photos after the show.
See me below in my official "Mouthful of Shame" shirt signed by Mr. Norton. And below that I can be seen with Jim after the show.
